Grants for Student Members and Postdocs

The following grants are only available to National ACS Members within the ACS Wisconsin Local Section. Become a National ACS Member to take advantage of these offers. The ACS WI Local Section will subsidize student ACS memberships at 50%.

1. Summer Research Support

Participation in research in the chemical sciences is crucial for the development of the next generation of scientists. Because of this, the ACS WI Local Section has established a program for the summer of 2021 that aims to support summer research endeavors of ACS student members. Successful applicants will receive between $1,000 to $2,000 depending on the level of need, quality of the application and the number of applicants. Funds from this award will be paid directly to the student researcher and can be used to support their research, cover living and/or travel expenses while conducting their research, and/or pay for student tuition related to their research. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled at a higher education institution within the ACS Wisconsin Local Section and be majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering or biochemistry to be eligible.

Application Rules
